Mhalgi Prabodhini Organizes 3-Day Workshop for Chhattisgarh Party Workers: Focus on Leadership, Yoga, AI, and Stress Management



3-day workshop for party workers, office bearers from Chhattisgarh completed successfully

Mumbai: 12th June: In a democracy it is essential that the elected representatives should possess all the required qualities for such a role. Without that any work conducted from the Gram Panchayat to the Parliament level cannot truly lead to people’s welfare. This is crucial for India poised to race ahead in the 21st century. Realizing this need Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP) has been training elected representatives just like other sections of the society for the past 4 decades. A 3-day training workshop was organized for the political party workers and office bearers from Chhattisgarh at RMP’s Knowledge Excellence Centre in Uttan near Mumbai. In all 54 Individuals from Kurud Vidhan Sabha constituency participated in the same.

 

Need to distinguish between crowd and organized group

Adv. Parag Alavani addressed those present in the inaugural session on the first day. Thereafter, underlining the importance of organization, Adv. Sandeep Lele said, “We need to understand the difference between crowd and organized group. The one present on railway stations is a crowd, while the one that works for an institute with a common goal is an organised group. Aspects like management of upcoming tasks, understanding of the bureaucracy, strategy to reach out to every booth, coordination with social and spiritual groups, regular PR with people and teamwork are crucial in politics.” Mr. Madhav Bhandari explained the success story from Jan Sangh to BJP, while Mr. Jameer Mokashi guided on teamwork, team building and communication skills.

Yoga, AI lessons and Mumbai Darshan

Every day of the workshop commenced with the practice of Asanas in the serene campus of RMP under the guidance of Mr. Sanjay Inamdar. On the second day, Mr. Sanjay Kelkar, MLA, commented on the mental setup of a political activist, and Mr. Ravindra Gole emphasized the need for social harmony. Mr. Hariom Sharma explained the philosophy of RSS, while Dr. Chetan Nerkar talked on stress management. On the third day, Mr. Deepak Karanjikar took stock of the topics of leadership development and time management. Mr. Aditya Yadav highlighted the importance of social media and AI in reaching out to the masses. Mr. Rajabhau Muley presented the concluding remarks. On the fourth day, all participants experienced the financial capital - Mumbai – firsthand during an outing.

Mr. Lokeshwar Sinha who participated in the workshop, expressed satisfaction and said, “We learnt many new aspects in this workshop. We received guidance on creating original content on social media.” Similarly, Mr. Suresh Agarwal said, “During the past 3 days we realized the importance of leadership skills development and the criteria required to achieve it” Mr. Vinay Mavalankar, Head-Programs Department, RMP, while underlining the objective of the workshop, said, “The main aim of the workshop was to equip the future elected representatives with management principles, social awareness, leadership and other skills, and the tasks necessary during election times. This workshop has been organized 12 times during the past 20 years for newer batches of party workers. Mr. Ajay Chandrakar has been playing a pivotal role in organizing it.”
